Lundgren Monuments recognizes that people want choice. It is the reason why there are libraries and shopping malls and 300 different flavors of ice cream. We are all different, quirky and entirely unique individuals.
We opened our first boutique in the spring of 2008 to present a new model for memorialization. We wanted a place where people felt comfortable. A place that incited creativity and started conversations about honoring life through art and creativity. In our survey of American death care, we found a distinct absence of artists, designers and architects. And a shocking amount of mass-produced, poorly conceived and plain ugly designs.
We rounded up the artists and innovators that understand this necessity for change. Our boutique is a platform for the contemporary artist and visionary to propose new ideas and ways to honor the people we love. From diamond rings to memorial action figures, we invite you to consider the merging of art and memorial and the great diversity in telling your story.
