Michael Leavitt is a Seattle-based sculptor, painter and builder. He is a prolific, diverse and conceptually-driven artist whose works include an extensive set of hand-built fully- articulated action figures of cultural icons (The Art Army); a handmade ArtCard series; and miniature landscapes painted over found paintings (The Penny Place Series). He currently exhibits in Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle.
