Tim Foss

Artist

Tim has been a professional potter and ceramics instructor for 13 years and his work stretches the traditions of wheel-thrown pottery by fusing ancient techniques with modernist aesthetics. He recently moved away from Seattle to pursue a master’s in film and integrated arts at the University of Colorado. He is also working on his first graphic novel. His ceramic work has received many awards and can be found in the permanent collections of the de Young Mueum in San Francisco and the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland.
