Every human being has a unique fingerprint, an original voice, and a personality entirely their own. It seems so strange that the memorials created to honor our friends and family are often dull and uninspired.

Lundgren Monuments celebrates this diversity with handmade translucent cast glass memorials as an alternative to the traditional granite headstone. Luminescent, organic and rugged, Lundgren Monuments are sculptural, colorful, sun-powered beacons in the cemetery landscape. We invented the cast glass memorial in our Seattle studio and ship them to families all over the world. There is truly nothing like them, and no two are every alike. Isn’t that the way you want to be remembered?

About Cast Glass

Glass is a non-porous, non-stainable and non-corrosive material. Archeologists have discovered primitive, intact glass vases dating back over 4,000 years. It is a rugged, proven material designed to last thousands of years with strength and durability. It is the reason scientists use glass beakers in scientific studies and why nuclear waste is stored in glass-lined containers.

Silica is the most prevalent element on Earth, and represents 70-85% of the content of both glass and granite. Both granite and glass belong to the family of super-saturated silicas, using the same tools and processes to cut, polish and carve.
